Airforce Agniveer Vayu Musician (Intake 01/2026)

  • Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) with minimum passing marks from a recognized school or board. They should have good musical ability , including correct tempo, pitch, and the ability to sing a full song, perform a tune, use any music notation system, and play at least one instrument. Candidates must also meet musical experience criteria , such as Grade 5 or higher from a recognized music institute, a diploma in Hindustani or Carnatic music , or certificates/awards from music events. Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026 :- Mandatory Medical Standards

​ The mandatory medical standards for candidates applying to the Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026 position are as follows: ​

Height Requirements :

  • Male Candidates : Minimum acceptable height is 162 cm. ​

  • Female Candidates : Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm. For candidates from North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm is acceptable. For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is 150 cm. ​

Chest Measurements :

  • Male Candidates : Chest should be well-proportioned and well-developed, with a minimum circumference of 77 cm and a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

  • Female Candidates : Chest should be well-proportioned and well-developed, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. ​

Hearing Ability :

  • Candidates should have normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately. ​

General Health :

  • Candidates should be physically and mentally fit to perform duties in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain. They must be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or communicable disease, infection, and skin ailments. ​

Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026 :- Monthly Package Details

Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026 – Monthly Salary & Benefits

  • 1st Year : ₹30,000/month

  • 2nd Year : ₹33,000/month

  • 3rd Year : ₹36,500/month

  • 4th Year : ₹40,000/month

30% of the salary goes to a Seva Nidhi Fund (with equal contribution from the Govt).
After 4 years, you get around ₹10.04 lakh as a one-time amount .
